Making the invisible visible

It may seem surprising, but it wasn't until 1994 that women were legally recognised as farmers in Australia.

According to the Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Sciences (ABARES), women now make up 32% of the Australian agricultural workforce and this number is steadily increasing.
